Cloud computing is a term which is often heard. Cloud computing has been integrated with most IT companies. The world is fully fledged with Internet. Everything is available at your finger tips and cloud computing adds to its convenience.
At first, cloud computing facilities were regarded as “not very useful”. But now, situations have changed. Many companies have achieved complete success in their own industry with the help of Cloud computing. Now you can access everything on the go with the added convenience of being able to access information from just about anywhere. This is what cloud computing really means. For many companies, cloud computing has become an inevitable necessity.
Even though cloud computing has some problems concerning security and privacy of data, the negative aspects have been outweighed by the other immensely useful benefits. We don’t know when and how cloud based companies will access the data in future. Everything is risky, yet we continue to use it as there is no other choice.
We should understand that this is not a physical problem, and thus the issues we face will be less severe. Reliability is ruled out by convenience. Because, at many times, we look for comfort and not trust. Even Google has had downtimes in history; and it affected a large population of people who had all their important data on Google servers. Achieving 100% perfection is only something that anyone can only dream about.
The increasing competition between various cloud providers, effective web-based maintenance software, and the steadily increasing bandwidths pave the base for the use of cloud computing. The number of people who use cloud computing facilities is increasing day by day. And thus, the industry is expanding 200% every year.
For companies, there have been many issues on the modification of their existing business processes. There are many trends which will not be over after the popular-phase. Will cloud computing turn out to be such a phenomenon? Or it will survive those? It is impossible that cloud computing can be wiped out in a single day. Day by day, more companies are using it, and their products are being expanded with cloud computing in mind. So it will never end. Chances are that, cloud computing becomes more powerful in the future.
